Looked up the registration. The Pilot & his pet dog survived and swam to shore. This was a loss of power & ditching incident.

It's because TUIs owners are british registered companies after TUI had been bought out due to the pandemic a few years ago.

@John Giambone: yes sir .. it is. I'll see if I have a semi-decent picture of that aircraft from that day.

Whoever this photo was taken by did not get complete light poles so a two vote on number 82,907 post. FYI: There is no reward, patch, trophy, or bouquet from any LA Flower shop for 100,000 photos from the site. I checked on that last year.

Beautiful shot of an EA-18G (EW variant of the F-18) from VAQ-129 at Whidbey Island, WA. VAQ-129 is the training squadron for type.

The Fuji T-5 or KM-2Kai is a Japanese turboprop-driven primary trainer aircraft, which is a development of the earlier Fuji KM-2. The student and the instructor sit side-by-side.

Very interesting configuration. Stood beneath a refueling operation directly over Sunlight Creek in NW Wyoming about 5 months ago. Thought I'd never see this again but low and behold...Thanks!

Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. If you can reuse the airplane it is a great landing.

Was a volunteer setting up no parking signs on the county roads around St. Cloud, MN some years ago and their practicing the timing to meet over the airport for GMAS and where they would turn and when made for an awesome few hours riding around in a truck with the Blue Angels just above the trees. Saw a vaping F-22 over Anoka - Janes Field/ANE.

If the chaff is to draw heat seeking missiles away this particular deployment seems to be drawing that attack to the port wing root and the adjacent engine. Nice picture, questionable tactics. While I do realize this is only a split second of the overall action, still...

How can this and a Canadian North 737 have the same Reg # ?

That is what I would call a hard landing. Hope all walked away.

Someone has their tail numbers mixed up. Must have done a biden. One is 10-9004 and the other is 12-9019. I don't see 12-9004 unless it is in "stealth" mode.
